The General Duty Clause outlines responsibilities for employers and employees with respect to workplace safety.

This standard applies to all occupational exposures to blood or other potentially infectious materials.

This standard is designed to protect employees from hazardous air contaminants, such as toxic gases, vapors, fumes, and dust that can cause severe health issues or death if inhaled.

This standard requires employers to provide PPE for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields, and barriers for employees who are at risk.
